Dedication to detail and innovative solutions

Joanna regularly advises strategic investors and private equity firms on regulatory considerations for health care and life sciences transactions, including investments in physician practices, nurse staff agencies, contract research organizations, pharmacies and home health providers. Joanna also assists clients in navigating the complex health care regulatory landscape by providing guidance on various aspects of regulatory compliance, including reimbursement under federal health care programs, corporate practice of medicine, HIPAA, and fraud and abuse laws, such as the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the False Claims Act.

Joanna maintains a robust pro bono practice and is also committed to supporting the legal community through mentorship of other young professionals.
