About Charles Manning

Charles Manning provides legal support to a variety of health care industry players conducting complex transactions, including private equity-backed management entities, physician practices and health systems, through robust due diligence review and management, in-depth research, and regulatory and compliance guidance. He also advises health care provider clients on matters involving the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and other regulatory and corporate matters such as billing compliance, the corporate practice of medicine, clinical trial management and licensing.

A detail-oriented approach that stems from a focused background

Charles has a thorough understanding of the health care industry after spending four years in health care management consulting. He also has experience providing project management for multimillion-dollar engagements.

During law school, Charles served as the publication editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, and he has interned with the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Protection Branch of the Department of Justice.
