Katten DEI: Weaving Together a Rich Tapestry of Diverse Identities

Katten CEO Noah Heller and Chairman Roger Furey opened the 2024 DEI Annual Report with a letter about Katten's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion: 

Katten's 2024 Diversity Equity and Inclusion Report, aptly themed “Interwoven,” is a testament to the rich tapestry of diverse identities that enrich our community. The stories in these pages show the many ways Katten is deeply committed to DEI and how we are actively striving to create an inclusive work environment where everyone's identity is welcomed and celebrated. 

One striking aspect of the report is the sheer variety of programs and initiatives our attorneys and business professionals produce, support and participate in, from presenting the Diversity Summit and hosting a series of insightful speakers to forging relationships during special events, including the Juneteenth program in New York and the Rainbow Dinner at the House of St Barnabas in London. 

Katten's Affinity Groups, such as the Women’s Leadership Forum and the Partners Collective for Racial and Ethnic Diversity, play a significant role in fostering a sense of belonging, community and inclusion. Also of note is the firm’s focus on transparency. The report’s “By the Numbers” section is a clear testament to our ongoing efforts to ensure diversity is not just a buzzword but a reality at every level of our firm.
