In this video, Michael Callahan provides an overview of how Federal and State governments have adopted waivers of existing statutes and regulations to facilitate the onboarding of health care practitioners and to expand the scope of their licenses in treating patients during the COVID-19 pandemic in addition to adopting civil immunity protections.

In order to assist hospitals and other health care providers in dealing with the pandemic, the Federal and State governments have passed a series of waivers of laws leaving a relaxation of standards affecting the entire health care industry.
